In 2020-2021, DSMG hosted a series of activities on the BNI site as part of a CreateNSW-funded project under the title Gulbangali Dharug Nura. Originally developed as part of the Biennale of Sydney 2020, the project was disrupted by Covid-19, but was delivered in collaboration with Blacktown Arts, with support from Blacktown Council, Parramatta Council, ICE and our wonderful Dharug artists and performers.
Photographer and videographer Klas Ericksson produced a short video Country Speaks to document the experience and the work of outstanding Dharug artists Leanne Tobin, Leanne Mulgo Watson and Venessa Dyubi Possum (click play to view)
